(Would that be cheating?) I do (among other things) tribute cards for former major leaguers as they pass away. I post many of them at Baseball Birthdays (http://www.baseball-birthdays.net/), with the kind permission of the site proprietor, along with (most of the time) brief bios and (almost always) the process of creation (including original photo, cleaned up or colorized photo when that is the case, and the final product). Look for them in the Creators Corner portion of the site. I'm generally pretty timely on making the cards, but very slow to post them.

Now on Gene Lillard...what I love is how dirty his uniform is. You can tell he was playing hard that day.

Oh, and, technically, I live in the Carolinas now (fwiw), but I do hale from Mets country originally.

Good luck on your quest, Anthony. And welcome to the blogosphere. You'll find many generous souls out here (or they'll find you).Stubbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07010142558613227433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3748335246635491217.post-13361782468230119922014-04-01T18:20:36.147-05:002014-04-01T18:20:36.147-05:00That's one heck of a trade package!
